ACA LIMITED CHOIR LICENSE
Overview
his license governs the use of digital music partitures, notation scores, compositions, and arrangements published by ACA Publisher under cooperation with composers. It grants choirs and vocal ensembles the right to use a specific work within their own organization under the following terms.
ACA Publisher, as the authorized licensor, grants the registered choir or ensemble (Licensee) a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use, rehearse, perform, and store the licensed digital score for internal and performance purposes only.
Performances and recordings are permitted if the choir’s name appears in the credits
Each license is issued specifically to one choir name and cannot be reassigned.
Restrictions
The score may not be sold, resold, redistributed, or shared outside the licensed ensemble.
No derivative works or arrangements may be published or distributed without written permission from ACA Publisher and the composer.
The license does not transfer copyright ownership of the work.
Ownership
All copyrights remain jointly held by the original composer and ACA Publisher. The composer retains moral rights, and ACA Publisher retains exclusive distribution and licensing rights for the digital edition.
Commercial Terms
The composer receives royalty commissions based on each sale, as agreed upon with ACA Publisher. License validity is perpetual for the named choir unless revoked due to license violation.
Legal Framework
This license is governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute shall be settled within the jurisdiction of Indonesian courts.
Attribution Requirement
Public performances and printed programs must acknowledge the composer and publisher as follows:
“Used under ACA Limited Choir License. © [Year] [Composer Name] & ACA Publisher.”
